the irish bar

Our Irish Bar is the first thing you’ll see when you walk in through Radio’s main floor entrance. With a varnished wood & tenement stone interior, cosy candle & lamp lighting, bespoke high tables that can seat anywhere from two to eight people, and four HD screens for sports. The stage just further along the room means you’ll still be able to hear our amazing live acts.

Our curved wee bar has two Guinness taps, a Birra Moretti tap, and our 4 house wine taps. Behind the bar we stock a selection of house spirits, popular spirits and Scotch/Irish/American whiskies. Sadly with our limited space we can’t always provide all the cocktails on our menu, but don’t worry our American Bar is on the other side of the room.

the American Bar

Further along our main floor is the American Bar! Similarly to our Irish Bar it keeps the same aesthetic, but with a striking neon signs, dimmed chandeliers, a beautifully tiled bar, four HD screens for sports, and a raised stage for our live acts. This room boasts more seats than the Irish Bar, with a mix of low tables, high tables & comfy booths, that can fit any & all group sizes! With live music all night & sports always on our screens, you won’t get bored easily.

With the main bar stretching wall to wall, we have our full draft line-up available and an espresso machine for those cold mornings. Behind the bar sits our display shelves, showcasing almost all the spirits & wine we have on offer, but don’t be afraid to ask if you can’t see what you’re after!

If you head downstairs you’ll find the Green Room, the cosiest spot in Radio. Four massive booths that are so comfy you could sleep in them, high tables dotted around the room perfect to share gossip on, and vintage decorations to make the room feel like you’re right at home (well maybe your Gran’s house). There’s even a DJ Booth behind the bar!

With a cosy bar on the opposite side of the room, you won’t have to travel far for a drink. The bar hosts a Murphy’s tap, a Heineken tap, and our 4 house wine taps. Don’t fret if you’re not a fan of any of those options, the Green Room bar has everything behind the bar to make all our cocktails and boasts a selection of house spirits, popular spirits and even some you won’t find upstairs! The Green Room is fully bookable for private hire, just contact us!

The Velvet Room

Hidden downstairs in Radio is the Velvet Room, our take on a speakeasy; modernised with a New York theme. Our team of talented mixologists have curated a vibe that makes everyone feel welcome. Table service, velvet & leather seating, hand-crafted & home-mode cocktails, with a vinyl DJ blessing your ears.

With a new menu on the way, our team wants to transport you to New York. Just as the Big Apple was based on Glasgow, we’ve made it our job to come up with ten signature cocktails based on the famous metropolis. Have a look at the menu below:
